As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of GTM Systems projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including sales, success and support ops leaders and analysts. Your expertise in integration best practices, using an iPaaS platform such as Workato, development, configuration, and customization will be critical in ensuring the success and health of Klaviyo's integration landscape. You will also mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools as well as iPaaS solutions like Workato.
- Architect and implement solutions that follow best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Customize and configure Workato and other integrated systems to address complex business processes and requirements.
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other related technologies.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with business goals.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring high-quality code standards are maintained.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Integrations and Salesforce applications.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance the development and deployment process.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation related to architecture, design, and technical processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and systems integration.
- Workato Developer certification is a plus.
- Salesforce Platform Developer certification is required; additional certifications such as Application Architect or System Architect are a plus.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development technologies.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns, REST and SOAP APIs, and data migration techniques.
- Experience with iPaaS platforms such as Workato.
- Experience with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within scope.

The range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all our US locations. The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant's job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.
In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
