Our team of technical integration consultants is dedicated to creating seamless connections between client backends and Interlok solutions. We pride ourselves on our collaborative spirit, where every idea is valued, and together, we strive to deliver the best outcomes for our clients. Your contribution will be pivotal in helping us achieve unparalleled integration services, making us the go-to experts in the industry.
In the role of an Integration Consultant, you will join a small, dynamic team of technical
integration consultants responsible for integrating client backends (for example MYOB, SAP,
Dynamics, Xero and other ERPs) with our middleware technology. In this fast-paced environment you will be responsible for delivery of allocated integration projects, multi-tasking to manage multiple clients and deliverables simultaneously. You will have the opportunity to bounce ideas off the internal team and leverage team strengths to support best client outcomes. The role encompasses communication, project management, business analysis, research & development, problem solving skills as well as being deeply technical.
What you'll do
- Consult directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored integration solutions.
- Engage in hands-on coding, configuration, documentation, and deployment activities.
- Manage multiple integration projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Peer review complex code and design, ensuring standards are met.
- Scope and estimate new technical work in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Design and prepare solutions for complex Change Requests and Proposals.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers on various products and solutions.
- Be the subject matter expert e/g Review Integration Project Documentation and provide recommendations.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of technical work on integration projects and facilitate project management, communication, and task coordination.
- Implement client technical requirements within our Integration Process and Delivery Methodology Framework.
- Provide third-level support and manage end-to-end delivery of integration projects.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in integration and coding.
What you bring
- Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in IT.
- Extensive general IT experience.
- Understanding of a programming language and its language constructs
- Understanding of XML and XML based technologies
- Basic understanding of networks
- Documentation and report writing
- Experience in Linux or UNIX based platforms
- A personal interest in new technologies and technical developments
- Desire to progress within the IT industry
- Prior experience in client-facing roles, with data integration project experience
- Experience with enterprise integration tools
- Demonstrated experience with deployments of enterprise software systems using industry standard environments including XML and HTTP/HTTPS
- Experience with sFTP, API, Web Services, SOAP, XML and XSLT
- Prior project experience following Waterfall and/or Agile project implementation
- methodologies
- Demonstrated experience: Tech Business Analysis + Agile + Enterprise Integration Patterns
Great-to-haves
- Experience with and knowledge of Proagrica products and services.
- Additional certifications in technical integration or project management.
- Demonstrated Commercial Pre-sales experience
