The Manager, Instructional Design & Content Development will lead a globally distributed team responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing learning content that supports Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations. This role requires a solid combination of people leadership, instructional design expertise, content governance, and project management capabilities to deliver high-quality, effective learning solutions that drive business performance and operational excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of instructional designers and content developers across India and the Philippines
- Manage team performance, engagement, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet business priorities and timelines
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of training materials, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Job Aids, Instructor
- Led Training (ILT), and Web-Based Training (WBT) content
- Manage content intake, prioritization, and delivery through established request and ticket management processes
- Ensure all learning content meets quality standards for accuracy, consistency, clarity, and instructional effectiveness
- Conduct content reviews and implement best practices aligned with organizational style guides and documentation standards
- Lead large-scale content transformation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives
- Partner closely with Operations, Training Delivery teams, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and global learning stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver impactful learning solutions
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within content development processes, tools, and methodologies
- Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), instructional design, content development, training, or learning operations
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams, including geographically dispersed teams
- Experience partnering with cross-functional and global teams to deliver business-critical initiatives
- Solid understanding of SOP development, documentation governance, and instructional design principles
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting healthcare operations, payer, provider, or Revenue Cycle Management environments
- Knowledge of adult learning methodologies and content development best practices
- Familiarity with learning technologies, content management systems, and e-learning development tools
- Skills & Competencies:
- Deep understanding of Revenue Cycle Management processes and workflows
- Solid instructional design and learning content development expertise
- Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills with solid attention to detail
