THE ROLE

WittKieffer considers the role of the Senior Insights Strategist as an important position for generating impactful insights and thought leadership content focused on leadership within the Quality of Life Ecosystem. Collaborating closely with the marketing team, this position supports WittKieffer’s brand through unique insights and a content-driven approach to branding, marketing, and business development.

This role will focus specifically on Global Investor-Backed Markets, including Global Life Sciences, Investor-Backed Healthcare, and Private Equity. The Senior Insights Strategist will support market-facing teams and other firm members through market analysis, the development and maintenance of proprietary data tools, and in-depth research. They will lead thought leadership content that highlights WittKieffer’s expertise in the markets and enhances business development.

The role is based in the United Kingdom, with a hybrid work arrangement that requires a significant presence in our London office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Cutting-Edge Insights Generation:

  • Serves as a thought partner and expert by providing client-credible insights during problem-solving and advisory discussions, as well as in synthesized end products (e.g., client documents, thought leadership).

  • Designs and leads quantitative and qualitative research initiatives focused on talent within the Global Investor-Backed Markets.

  • Independently manages projects from start to finish.

  • Proactively designs and builds data and analytical tools and assets; draws compelling insights to better inform critical talent decisions.

  • Conducts in-depth research using relevant, qualified resources (e.g., in-house databases, proprietary market and talent intelligence, external sources, surveys, and qualitative interviews).

  • Develops differentiated insights that elevate proposals and thought leadership.

  • Leads the creation of unique, insightful, and impactful thought leadership through proprietary research.

  • Supports the editorial board in driving the thought leadership agenda at WittKieffer.

Knowledge and Data Management:

  • Promotes knowledge sharing by disseminating the latest insights and data across the firm.

  • Designs and develops a consistent flow of internal “intelligence briefings”, documents, slides, etc.

  • Builds libraries of relevant and re-usable insights to be leveraged by market-facing teams and others.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required, preferably in research methods, market research, consumer behavior/analytics, or similar fields.

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a commercially-oriented, professional services environment.

  • Broad and deep understanding of current market trends in Global Investor-Backed Markets, with a focus on Life Sciences, Investor-Backed Healthcare, and Private Equity, as well as talent-related themes.

  • Extensive experience creating thought-provoking insights and translating them into compelling narratives.

  • Methodical and structured researcher with the ability to scope and execute primary and secondary research.

  • Proven track record in mining, triangulating, and utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to identify themes and synthesize them into actionable information.

  • Proficiency in using quantitative analysis and research tools.

  • Very strong storytelling skills.

  • Proven track record in writing clearly, concisely, and persuasively.

  • Ability to work on projects independently and end-to-end.
