Semrush is a brand visibility platform, empowering marketers to command their online presence and create measurable impact. We unify SEO authority and AI visibility, so brands are found, cited, and chosen everywhere search happens. Here, you own the way you work, but we move as one unbeatable team.
We don’t just lead the market, we’re busy creating the world where Semrush is an unfair advantage for every marketer.
We move fast in ways to help you grow. Here, you have room to experiment, keep what works, and learn quickly from what doesn’t.
Ready to share our ambition and make an impact? Then, this role may be for you.
About the roleWe are looking for a Senior Insights Analyst to own the measurement of Semrush data products. You will define and improve how we measure usage, activation, and monetization, delivering measurable business impact through reliable, scalable analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the measurement of our data products end to end: usage and consumption analytics, activation and success metrics, and their connection to downstream revenue, upgrades, expansion, and retention.
Build the data foundations for the scope: analytical frameworks, metric definitions aligned to company SSoTs, and data quality in collaboration with engineering teams.
Turn usage analysis into monetization decisions: product limits, thresholds, pricing, and packaging recommendations.
Own user segmentation, including analytics and experimentation for the production LLM-based customization model: monitor quality, evaluate new use cases, and contribute to its roadmap.
Analyze and help optimize product-led growth funnels.
Design, run, and interpret experiments through the team's decentralized A/B infrastructure to measure the impact of product and pricing changes.
Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations and present them to stakeholders up to the senior leadership level, ensuring clarity and strong business impact.
Work in an AI-native way: automate recurring analyses, leverage LLM tools to improve productivity, and share best practices within the team.
Move together. Raise the bar. Learn fast—grow faster. That’s the default. And here’s what else is needed to succeed in this role:
5+ years of experience in product analytics, data analysis, or similar analytical roles, with a demonstrated track record of driving business impact.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong experience working with large-scale relational datasets (BigQuery experience is a plus).
Proven experience analyzing complex datasets and solving ambiguous, high-impact business problems.
Strong foundation in statistics and quantitative analysis, with hands-on experience designing, running, and interpreting A/B tests or other experiments.
Experience building analytical frameworks (funnels, segmentation, monitoring) and measuring the impact of product or business changes.
Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decisions through data.
Strong data visualization and storytelling skills (Tableau is a plus), with experience presenting insights to senior leaders and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to independently own analytical projects end-to-end and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on experience with LLM tools in analytical workflows (prompting, prototyping, automation).
Experience contributing to analytics best practices and knowledge sharing within a team.
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience with usage-based pricing models or developer-facing products is a plus.
