We are looking for a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, PA or Kansas City. This is an exciting opportunity to support and shape mission-critical infrastructure that underpins enterprise-wide applications and services. We have deep expertise in data center networking, firewalls, and load balancing and we’d love to speak with you if you bring solid experience in A10, Palo Alto, and Cisco routing and switching.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise-level infrastructure and network environments
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with Cisco routing and switching, including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
  • 5+ years of experience with A10, Palo Alto, WAF

It would be great if you also had...

  • Experience supporting on-prem data centers
  • Strong practical knowledge of SD-WAN, Palo Alto firewalls, and Panorama policy management.
  • Expert-level vendor certifications (e.g., CCNA, A10 Certified Professional, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE)

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise network solutions across global environments.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for A10, Palo Alto NGFW, WAF and Cisco Routing/Switching.
  • Provide Tier 4 escalation for complex network and security incidents (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
  • Optimize routing, switching, and security architectures to improve performance and resilience.
  • Drive network automation, documentation, and operational best practices.
  • Mentor team members and provide technical direction for large-scale projects.
  • Support on-call rotations and ensure compliance with change management processes.

About the Team

Our Infrastructure Operations team is a highly cross-functional group that supports the foundational technologies enabling all internal IT and enterprise systems. While the focus of this role is on on-premises data center infrastructure, you’ll collaborate with adjacent teams including cloud, application, security, and enterprise support.

The team manages networking across remote offices and centralized data centers — including edge networks, firewalls, load balancers, and internal LAN/WAN connectivity. You’ll be joining a group of experienced engineers who take pride in owning critical infrastructure and driving improvement across the tech stack.

Internal stakeholders include nearly all technical teams, as this group provides the transport layer and connectivity foundation that underpins our IT operations.

Hours of Work

  • Full-time permanent position working core business hours (Eastern Time), with flexibility to support occasional maintenance windows or global stakeholders as needed
  • Hybrid schedule: 2–3 days/week on-site in Philadelphia, PA or Kansas City
  • Participate in a shared on-call rotation (approximately every 8–12 weeks, for 2-week periods), with some work during off-hours/weekends depending on data center location

At Clarivate, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all qualified persons with respect to hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment. We comply with applicable laws and regulations governing non-discrimination in all locations.
