The Opportunity:
 
This position is for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer. You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations. . Our ideal candidate is a DevSecOps Engineer who is a hard charging self-starter that can come onto a team and begin to produce quickly. You should have an advanced understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, automated test, and deployment pipelines.Responsibilities:In addition, you'll have the opportunity to grow and hone your skills with other talented team membersQualifications:Required:

•    3+ years of Infrastructure/DevOps experience
•    Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engagement with virtual or remote teams
•    Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
•    Experience working with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
•    Experience working with Infrastructure as code tooling (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, etc.)
•    Experience creating, editing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or equivalent)
•    Scripting, automation, and programming skills (e.g., Bash, Python)

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field for 4 years of directly related work experience in lieu of a degree
•    IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+)
•    Active U.S Government TS/SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph

Preferred:

•    Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology
•    Familiarity with government risk management framework (RMF) processes
•    Basic understanding of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana or similar
•    Experience working with cloud-based serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, AWS ECS, or equivalent)
 
 

EHS/Environmental Requirements: This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to use hands to keyboard, communicate, listen to, and interpret instructions and remain stationary for extended periods of the time. This would require the ability to move around the campus and occasionally move/lift items weighing up to 25 lbs. Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
