Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in computer security incident response activities for moderately complex events
- Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies
- Provide security consulting on medium projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards
- Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security
- Review and correlate security logs
- Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity
- Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

- 2+ years of deep Prisma/Cortex Cloud Enterprise experience, or experience with a similar Cloud Security Posture Management/Workload Protection tool such as Wiz, Aqua Security, Qualys, CrowdStrike
- 2+ year experience with scripting/automation languages such as Terraform, Python and/or PowerShell
- 2+ years of experience with and strong understanding of Azure and Google public cloud PaaS - platforms, services, configurations, workloads and hardening practices
- 1+ years of experience at the Intermediate or higher with Kubernetes/container environments engineering & support
- 1+ year experience working with or good working understanding of 1 or more key industry frameworks/benchmarks/standards, such as: COBIT, Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), FedRAMP, FFIEC, NIST, CIS, etc.
- 1+ year experience with Atlassian suite of products (e.g., Confluence, Jira)
- 1+ year experience working on teams practicing Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies
- 2+ years experience with MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- Utilize industry leading security solutions and best practices to achieve cloud resource/platform/service/app integrity and confidentiality, reduce risk, detect threats and support flow of telemetry to Cyber Defense Team
- Perform engineering work related to the technical enablement for Cloud Workload Protection (CWP)
- Actively supporting/operating the Prisma/Cortex Cloud Enterprise Edition (SaaS) product, ensuring effective delivery of product roadmap
- Maintain and support Prisma/Cortex Defender agents on OpenShift (OCP), Tanzu Application Service (TAS), AKS & GKE
- Perform upgrades and maintenance on Prisma/Cortex Cloud Enterprise Consoles
- Responding to incidents and supporting resolution for Prisma/Cortex Cloud Enterprise (SaaS) landscapes
- Scripting/automation and other engineering tasks related to the CWP/container security aspects of Prisma Cloud Enterprise.
- Track or remediate vulnerabilities and security issues
- Review and correlate security logs
- Provide professional expertise relating to resolution of container vulnerability false positive claims and guiding partner teams in resolving vulnerabilities
- Be a motivated self-starter, quick to adapt while staying focused on delivering results in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines
- Share your expertise and knowledge with teammates, while completing assigned duties
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Deliver clear, concise, and actionable communication to various levels of organization on a timely basis to ensure effective understanding, decision-making, and execution
- Working effectively with a virtual Team consisting of members across various locations in the U.S. and India.
