The Visualization Lead plays a strategic role in guiding FCRM responsibilities. The role will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of critical reporting through the creation of Tableau and Power BI dashboards. This role will maintain a dashboard portfolio and own the reporting lifecycle of reporting solutions: including requirements gathering, development, QA, deployment, and continuous improvement.
This role involves Admin and Developer responsibilities. They will support a highly technical team providing administrative and operational support for multiple data management and BI analytics platforms. The individual should be a self-driven technical resource accountable for providing and implementing end-to-end solutions of visualization products. They must be able to partner with IT, network architects and storage teams to optimize processes.
Work associated with this role will require an in depth understanding of the FCRM program and core components along with an understanding of other methodologies such as the Risk Measurement Policy and the Operational Risk Key Risk Indicator Procedure. Additionally, this role will require strong collaboration with key partners in Financial Crimes Risk Management such as Anti-Bribery and Corruption, International, Anti-Money Laundering, and Sanctions component teams. And strong collaboration with key frontline such as the Financial Crimes Leaders and Financial Crimes Operations (FCO).
In this role, you will:
- End to End management of delivery cycle for Tableau and Power BI dashboards, including capturing requirements, data sourcing, UI development, internal/external UAT, promotion to production environments, and continuous improvement. Includes new dashboard deployments, enhancements to existing dashboards and defect management.
- Act as a process and escalation contact for MI&R Dashboards. Inform colleagues, lines of business and external partners on outages, defects and other challenges.
- Deliver high-quality, accurate, and user-friendly visualizations.
- Oversee the quality and consumption of dashboard solutions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business needs.
- Supervise, coach and support the delivery and quality assessment of outputs provided by junior developers.
- Reconfigure, consolidate and optimize existing suite of Tableau and Power BI dashboards.
- Create and manage user accounts, groups and permissions for appropriate entitlements.
- Connect Tableau and Power BI to various data sources for real-time or batch data. Identify and drive initiatives for data sourcing replacements (i.e. from tactical CSV to Data Lake/Cloud sources).
- Partner with FCRM stakeholders and MI&R Delivery Leads to understand, document and prioritize functional requirements. Provide UI recommendations as needed.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives impacting dashboard processes.
- Ensure all products meet business needs and are optimized for performance.
- 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Experience supervising and quality assurance BI Developers outputs.
Proficiency in Server, Windows environment and scripting languages (e.g. SQL, Python).
Experience with Tableau Cloud, Tableau Pulse, Tableau AI, and Tableau Prep a plus.
Experience in data analysis, validation, visualization and automation.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Required licenses and/or professional certifications as applicable.
Excellent Communication (Written, verbal and listening) skills
Ability to facilitate and lead requirements meetings to reach conclusions, identify tasks, record actions, collect approvals (as needed) and achieve results.
Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in working with large datasets and ETL processes.
Familiarity with Alteryx is a plus.
Strong ability to mentor teams and drive strategic initiatives.
Familiarity with financial crimes, compliance, or risk reporting is a plus.
