How You'll Contribute
As the Senior Inforce Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple Inforce Administration teams supporting life insurance and annuity products. You'll partner closely with Policy Administration, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous process improvements.

What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop multiple Inforce Administration teams while fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
- Oversee daily processing of inforce transactions, including withdrawals, surrenders, transfers, ownership changes, trusts, powers of attorney, tax conversions, required minimum distributions (RMDs), and other policy servicing requests.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant service that meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage employee performance, staffing, workload balancing, hiring recommendations, coaching, and professional development.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex customer, intermediary, and operational issues, exercising sound judgment and decision-making.
- Monitor operational performance through reporting and metrics, identifying trends, opportunities, and staffing needs.
- Drive continuous improvement through process enhancements, system improvements, and operational efficiencies.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Audit, and other business partners to resolve complex issues and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Support departmental planning by contributing to strategic initiatives, budgeting, reporting, and implementation of regulatory or business changes.
- Promote a culture of accountability, customer focus, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
What You'll Bring
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional education or professional insurance designations are a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of life insurance and/or annuity industry experience required.
- Minimum of 6 years of leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Experience leading multiple operational teams within Policy Administration or insurance operations preferred.
- 7+ years of life insurance and/or annuity experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
- Advanced analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Experience leading change initiatives and driving continuous process improvement.
- Strong understanding of life insurance and annuity products, particularly indexed and deferred annuities.
- Working knowledge of applicable insurance regulations and operational compliance requirements.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and business technology systems.
- Ability to build strong relationships across departments and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while promoting an inclusive, respectful, and positive workplace.
Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based work requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
- Frequent use of hands for keyboarding and standard office equipment.
- Regular communication with employees, business partners, and customers.
- Occasionally move or lift materials weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Infrequent business travel (less than 5%) may be required.
