You will work across Manufacturing, R&D, and Supply Chain to turn complex data into clear decisions that enable high volume production. As an AI Enablement Industrial engineer, you will enable production readiness for Micron's high-volume memory fab in Boise by translating manufacturing changes into clear capacity insights, building scalable planning tools, and delivering data-driven recommendations to senior leaders. Through the seamless integration of advanced AI-enabled analytics and automation, you will elevate capacity management-enhancing forecast precision, accelerating decision-making, and optimizing utilization to support a successful ramp and sustained operations.
Responsibilities:

• Drive equipment availability and utilization to maximize fab capacity
• Model capacity impacts of new tools, process changes, and roadmap decisions
• Develop and automate planning models using generative AI tools, Python, SQL, R, Excel, or VBA
• Build and maintain site capacity and utilization models to optimize deployed capital
• Communicate recommendations and improvement proposals through dashboards and executive presentations

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field
• Over 2 years of experience in semiconductor capacity planning, business analysis, or process engineering
• Experience with generative AI tools
• Experience analyzing data, forming recommendations, and presenting results clearly
• Ability to work across Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience modeling front-end semiconductor manufacturing capacity & data science experience
• Experience working independently with strong organization and execution discipline
• Proficiency communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated success building cross-functional partnerships
