What you’ll do:
- Oversee the implementation of technical platform and use of PM tools to track tasks, action items and deadlines
- Participate in project reporting activities that enable internal and external stakeholder visibility on implementation progress as well as related risks and issues to meeting key milestones
- Gather customer business requirements and configure based on business needs
- Manage multiple projects at a time during different phases of implementation cycle
- Work with key project stakeholders, subject matter experts and technical staff
- Collaborate with sales, customer success and product and engineering teams to ensure the success of our implementations
- Monitoring emails and responding to customers in a timely manner while tracking and following up on outstanding items
- Guide customers on best practices and train end users
- Troubleshoot and work with product & customer support team to develop solutions to solve for internal or customer-facing issues
What you have:
- 5+ years of experience
- Technically oriented – willing to learn new systems quickly and savvy in tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Jira, and Confluence
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Passionate about new customer onboarding and system configuration, with understanding of the role it plays in making a customer-centric team successful
- Ability to communicate technical problems in an elegant and tactful way
- Strong communication and writing ability
- Empathy, diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues
- Has configured a mortgage Product & Pricing Engine (e.g., Polly, Optimal Blue, Lender Price, or EPPS)
- Has interpreted and entered rate sheets or pricing rules into a PPE platform
- Knowledge of lock desk operations, margin strategies, and rate sheet structures
- Experience creating logic-driven rule sets to determine product eligibility and pricing
- Familiarity with conditional statements, if/then logic, formulas
- Preferred: Has gathered pricing requirements directly from lenders or secondary teams to inform configuration scope
- Preferred: Project management skills to support structured approach to configurations in technology implementation
- Has admin-level experience in Encompass or similar LOS (e.g., field configuration, input forms, business rules, custom objects)
- Has mapped data between an LOS and at least one third-party system (e.g., PPE, POS, CRM)
- Understanding of data fields required for pricing
- Familiar with troubleshooting data discrepancies
- Has resolved field-level mismatches or validation errors in a production implementation
- Preferred: Project management skills to support structured approach to data mapping efforts in implementation
- Has used API tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger) to test, debug, or validate requests/responses
- Has worked on SaaS implementations that required API integrations (internal or customer-facing)
- Has collaborated with customer dev teams to troubleshoot integration issues
- Preferred: Has documented API workflows or contributed to integration guides/runbooks
- Preferred: Understanding of loan origination workflows and familiarity with mortgage data
- Has experience leading or supporting multiple concurrent SaaS implementations
- Has worked in a client-facing role within mortgage tech or financial services
- Has configured at least one part of a SaaS product (e.g., rules engine, user roles, integrations, or workflows)
- Has led customers through process design or re-engineering as part of technical transformation projects; familiar with change management concepts
- Understands the loan origination workflow and familiar with loan programs, products and investors
- Preferred: Project Management and Change Management skills
- Preferred: Has successfully ramped on a new system or domain within 30–60 days
