As a Senior II Cloud Administrator on our Corporate Systems team, you’ll be a trusted technical expert across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, networking, security, and infrastructure automation.
You’ll lead high-priority cloud initiatives, establish sustainable practices, and collaborate across teams to solve complex infrastructure challenges. Your expertise will also help elevate the team through mentorship, technical guidance, and thoughtful decision-making.
As our Senior II Cloud Administrator, you will:- Own, maintain, and continuously optimize our corporate cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, ensuring its availability, performance, networking, and security.
- Lead our Terraform environment, defining infrastructure-as-code practices, improving automation, and enabling the Corporate Systems team to use Terraform effectively.
- Lead complex, cross-functional cloud infrastructure projects from planning through delivery, defining technical approaches, managing dependencies, and ensuring successful outcomes.
- Partner with Security teams to strengthen our cloud security posture, including threat detection, network segmentation, incident response, and broader security initiatives.
- Identify risks and opportunities across our cloud ecosystem and implement sustainable solutions that improve reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Mentor colleagues and act as a trusted technical resource, sharing expertise and helping the team navigate complex cloud infrastructure challenges.
- Significant hands-on experience administering enterprise AWS and/or Azure environments, typically developed through 5+ years working with cloud infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking and security concepts, including virtual private clouds, transit gateways, routing, network segmentation, and modern cloud security practices.
- Practical experience writing, testing, and deploying cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex technical initiatives, translate business needs into technical solutions, and help peers develop their expertise.
- A strong mentorship mindset, with experience providing constructive technical guidance and helping colleagues grow their capabilities.
- Relevant cloud or infrastructure-as-code certifications demonstrating advanced expertise.
- An ability to translate complex architecture, cloud strategy, and technical debt into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting to automate infrastructure and operational workflows.
