Job Description

PSI is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Manager for a 12 months maternity cover to provide strategic and operational HR support within a dynamic, international environment. This role will partner closely with local leaders and global stakeholders to drive HR initiatives, ensure compliance with employment regulations, support managers, and enhance the overall employee experience.

This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic judgement and operational execution during a critical period for the organization.

The scope of responsibilities will include:

HUMAN RESOURCES 

  • Manages pre-employment formalities and ensures all local requirements are met at point of employment.
  • Maintains employee benefits administration and supports with employee queries resolution.
  • Maintains and updates HR policies, HR files and work agreements in accordance with local rules and regulations.
  • Supports Country Manager with all HR-related matters and ensures compliance of local requirements.
  • Maintains staff attendance logs and verifies leaves of absence justifications.
  • Assists in organizing the evaluation of staff performance (at the completion of the probation period and ongoing)
  • Maintain hiring records, HR databases, staff CVs, training files, evaluation records.
  • Attends and conducts exit interviews of staff leaving the company.

TRAINING

  • Arrange and conduct corporate, procedural, and other training of office/regional staff.
  • Coordinate training activities between company offices.
  • Liaise with extradepartmental resources and external parties for organizing training.

RECRUITMENT

  • Organizes and schedules interviews; conducts and reports on interviews and testing of job candidates.
  • Maintains a database of applicants and interview outcomes using the applicant tracking system.

PAYROLL

  • Verify salary, bonuses and benefits amounts to be payable, ensuring confidentiality of payroll information as needed.
  • Cooperate with accounting team in order to provide all necessary information for calculation of salaries, tax forms, absence reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of Human Resources experience in a generalist or business partner capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of local employment legislation and HR practices.
  • Experience advising managers on performance management and employee matters.
  • Experience interpreting and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Exposure to compliance reviews, audits, labor inspections, or regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively with both local and global stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
