The Role

Datadog is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst who will be responsible for managing and supporting projects within Workday. This hands-on technical role demands excellent knowledge of HR business processes and methodologies along with a strong analytical and reporting background. 

A successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Workday and the ability to focus on one or more of the functional areas in People Operations. This will include the ability to assess systems and business processes, coordinate with peers, project managers, and management on impacts to other Datadog systems or business processes. You will play a critical role in the continued deployment of new functionality, developing solutions and enabling the continued growth of Datadog.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the end-to-end technical support for Workday HCM, including but not limited to: Position Management, Recruitment, job architecture and organizational set up whilst exercising functional knowledge to highlight downstream impacts to Benefits, Payroll and third-party systems
  • QA specialist partnering with HRIS SME and stakeholders to standardize testing procedures and improve system reliability and performance, ensuring minimal errors, defects and downtime
  • Be able to manage projects completely independently whilst using sound judgment to escalate issues when necessary
  • Develop and maintain simple to complex custom reports (Advanced, Matrix, Dashboards, Calculated Fields, etc.), building out our report catalog and reporting best practices
  • Act as a Workday SME and advise stakeholders of best practice solutions for various business needs
  • Create efficient and practical long term solutions for the Americas, EMEA, and APAC
  • Develop and execute regression testing related to system updates or new configuration
  • Consult with business and technical teams about interface design and maintenance; collaborate with other team members on design decisions
  • Assist in the development of detailed system requirements, test plans and training materials
  • Support ticketing service by researching and troubleshooting issues/errors along with educating end-users on Workday functionality
  • Perform bulk data uploads (EIBs) and maintain security role assignment
  • Partner with our Recruiting Operations team to help manage data between Workday and Greenhouse

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as an HRIS administrator for Workday; possessing one or more Workday Pro certifications is a plus
  • Proficient in Workday HCM, Recruiting,position management and related business processes
  • End to end implementation experience including project management, issue management, communication and change management
  • Have proven experience in designing, configuring and implementing various modules in Workday for a global company
  • Have basic understanding of integrations and Workday Security
  • Have strong technical skills in understanding business process framework in HCM
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and manage multiple priorities concurrently
  • Experience with Greenhouse or other ATS

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. $105,000$145,000 USD
