Job DescriptionThe Senior HRBP is a key HR partner based in a specific Latin American country. In this role, you will be responsible for providing operational HR guidance, ensuring compliance with all local employment laws, and deploying best-in-class HR practices. You will also collaborate with the Global HRBP team to align regional people actions with broader business strategies.
Responsabilities:
HR Strategy and Execution: The role is centered on delivering and deploying global HR projects, processes, and change programs within the Latam region. This includes ensuring compliance with local policies and procedures, as well as managing Diversity & Inclusion efforts.
Manager and Employee Support: You will advise and coach line managers on their HR responsibilities and management behaviors. The role also involves being a champion for employee advocacy and engagement, providing support for employee relations and grievance matters.
Cross-Functional Partnership: A key responsibility is to interface with both the Global HRBP team and various Centers of Excellence (COEs), such as Talent Acquisition and Compensation. This is to provide local insights, align on talent strategy, and ensure a consistent HR approach across the region.
Operational Excellence: The role is accountable for driving the effectiveness of the HR delivery model. This includes guiding local leaders to the correct resources, ensuring strong partnerships with key stakeholders, and maintaining accurate data management.
Change Management & Crisis Response: You will be responsible for managing local components of change programs and projects. The role also requires the ability to identify gaps in local HR services, suggest improvements, and handle crisis management as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or legal field
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience .
- An excellent level of English and Spanish is required.
- The position begins as 100% in-office. After a trial period, it transitions to a hybrid work model.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations, as well as handle multiple competing priorities.
- Ability to build a positive employee relations climate, advocate for employees, and maintain objectivity, even under pressure from other stakeholders.
- Process-driven and methodical in approach to implementing programs & HR solutions.
