Role Purpose & Impact
As a Senior HR Operations Specialist, you will report to the HR Director for EMEA and APAC and support HR operations for approximately 100 employees across nine countries. You will own and maintain HR systems and employee data, serving as the regional expert on processes, policies, and compliance.
In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing the employee experience by building and improving accessible, locally relevant resources for employees and managers, ensuring greater transparency and consistency across the region.
HR Systems & Data (Workday)
- Own and manage all employee lifecycle changes in Workday across EMEA and APAC, including hires, updates, and exits
- Ensure data accuracy through regular audits and timely follow-ups on outstanding actions
- Partner with global HR Operations teams (US and India) to drive consistency and best practices
- Collaborate with Workday specialist to enhance system functionality and improve data quality
Knowledge, Documentation & Employee Experience
- Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and contracts
- Create clear, user-friendly “how-to” guides and keep HR knowledge articles up to date
- Support benefits renewals and ensure employees receive clear, accessible information
- Manage and organise HR records across systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Deliver a seamless onboarding experience, from system setup to induction sessions
- Coordinate background checks, documentation, and onboarding plans tailored to each region
- Manage employee records and ensure documentation is stored accurately
- Track probation periods and support review processes
- Coordinate visa support with external partners
- Respond to employee queries promptly, meeting agreed service levels
Payroll Support
- Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain organised payroll records and meet all processing deadlines
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that enhance processes and employee experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support broader business goals
What makes you a great fit:
- Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, with CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) or relevant experience
- 5+ years’ experience in HR operations, with strong knowledge of HR legislation and best practice
- Proven experience using Workday (essential) and managing HR data with high accuracy
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
- Proactive and customer-focused, with the ability to prioritise, plan ahead, and remain effective under pressure
- Curious, adaptable, and resilient, with a positive approach and willingness to support others

- HR systems and employee data in Workday are consistently accurate, well-maintained, and fully compliant, with minimal errors or rework required.
- Employees and managers across EMEA and APAC receive timely, clear, and helpful HR support, resulting in a strong and positive employee experience.
- HR processes and documentation are well-organised, easy to access, and regularly improved to reflect local needs and global consistency.
- Employee lifecycle activities (including onboarding, changes, and exits) are delivered smoothly and efficiently, with strong attention to detail and a seamless experience end-to-end.
- Payroll inputs and HR reporting are delivered accurately and on time, supporting smooth monthly processing and informed decision-making.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems, specifically Workday
