How you will contribute
You will:
  • Support and partner with the Senior People Lead on the definition and execution of global and local policy and change initiatives and understand the impacts of the changes planned
  • Partner with function leads and middle managers to collaborate on creating and delivering the functional priorities and plan, providing strategic guidance
  • Leverage data analytics in driving business solutions and decisions and support with the delivery of operational processes and leverage insights and data and translate into actionable plans to impact the bottom line and enable business strategy. Inform and update People Services of any local, legal and regulatory changes in market
  • Lead and advise on talent management practices within assigned business unit related to workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy planning, leadership development, employee development, career and succession planning and talent mobility, approving job requisitions
  • Build end-to-end capabilities that accelerate consumer-centric growth and operational excellence
  • Manage works council relations and provide guidance to HR to ensure successful implementation of labor policies and compliance with laws and agreements
  • `Consult on overhead management

This role is critical to our commercial growth ambitions in KSA. The People Lead will be a key member of the KSA Commercial Leadership Team and will play a pivotal role in shaping the future commercial workforce - one that is locally rooted, globally competitive, consumer-obsessed, and built to win at every point of sale across the Kingdom.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the KSA Commercial Director and Commercial Leadership Team, embedding the people agenda into every commercial decision
  • Co-own the KSA commercial plan from a people lens - ensuring we have the right talent, structure, and capabilities to win at the point of sale and with our customers
  • Translate Mondelēz's global and MENAP people priorities into locally relevant, high-impact commercial initiatives
  • Provide strategic people insights on route-to-market evolution, distributor workforce models, and commercial team effectiveness
  • Foster a locally authentic, globally connected commercial culture where every colleague feels they belong
  • Lead initiatives that celebrate the richness of Saudi culture and create an environment where local commercial leaders and talent can flourish and grow into senior roles
  • Drive engagement action planning across the commercial organization and ensure our workplace reflects the values and aspirations of the communities we serve
  • Ensure full alignment with local labor regulations, workforce development frameworks, and government workforce initiatives - staying ahead of evolving requirements that impact the commercial workforce

Education / Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master's degree or MBA is a plus
  • Experience working within the KSA market with strong local networks and community connections

Job specific requirements:
  • 12+ years of progressive HR/People experience, with a strong track record in a fast-paced FMCG, CPG, or multinational environment
  • This role will be hired in compliance with the local Saudization Policy
  • Proven experience supporting Commercial/Sales organizations - you understand the rhythm of a sales team, the pressure of quarterly targets, and what it takes to build a winning go-to-market machine
  • Deep understanding of the KSA commercial ecosystem - its retail landscape, talent market, cultural dynamics, workforce regulations, and national economic aspirations
  • Strong expertise in talent management, organizational development, and change leadership within a commercial context
  • Experience building and executing local talent development strategies that create sustainable pipelines of homegrown commercial leaders
