Senior HR Generalist
Position Summary:
Full time salaried position
Onsite based out of our Kansas City, MO location
This Senior HR Generalist is responsible for providing support to the Campus Director, HR in administering policies and programs in several of the following areas: change management, employment law, employee relations, labor law, labor relations, organizational development, salary administration, performance management, training, recruitment and various other HR-related programs/initiatives.
The Role:
Develops and directs the establishment of policies, procedures, plans and programs dealing with the specific activities of staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee talent development, training, HR information systems and payroll systems to meet the site’s business plan and competitive strategy in a cost-effective manner
Ensures alignment of such policies, procedures, plans, programs and budgets with those of Catalent
Establishes and maintains an effective and credible relationship with both management and employees; works closely with line management to provide support, planning and problem solving; fosters open communication with business partners and employee population
Provides counsel to managers and employees on human resources issues, organization structure and development
Provides general human resources services to the respective business partners and employee population, answering HR related inquiries
Develops training and development plans to meet regulatory compliance while focusing on building the critical skills and competencies required to handle present and future jobs more effectively
Ensures implementation and administration of succession planning program

The Candidate:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline, required
Minimum five years’ experience in human resources knowledge and/or experience
Expert knowledge in HR management concepts with a strong consultative, and results oriented approach
Knowledge of employment and labor law
Experience in a supervisory or management role, preferred
Exposure to the pharmaceutical, healthcare or related technical industries, preferred
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
