We are currently recruiting for an Senior HR Co-Ordinator (13 month Parental Leave Cover) to sit within the local market team, based in our Luxembourg store. You will be reporting into the HR Manager, you will collaborate closely with the in-store management team and the wider HR community across UNIQLO EU to ensure a consistent and high-quality employee experience.
This is an opportunity for someone with hands-on HR experience across employee relations and operational HR, looking to further develop their career in a fast-paced retail environment.
You will act as a trusted HR partner at store level, working independently while being fully integrated within the store team. Supporting both employees and managers, you will manage a wide range of HR and administrative responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll, employee relations, and policy communication.
What you will be responsible for
- Manage the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, contracts, offboarding) accurately and on time
- Maintain confidential and up-to-date employee records in line with GDPR requirements
- Oversee weekly timesheets and support payroll, ensuring 100% accuracy in collaboration with external providers
- Liaise with the EU Payroll Manager on monthly reporting and payroll queries
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment with Store Managers, including screening, interviews, offers, and contracts
- Deliver engaging inductions and training for new starters
- Monitor staffing levels, schedules, attendance, and holidays to support store operations
- Support Store Managers with workforce planning and employee development
- Act as a first point of contact for employee queries (payroll, contracts, holidays, HR topics)
- Provide guidance on day-to-day employee relations matters
- Analyse HR data to identify trends and support improvements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date internal communications and back-office areas
- Ensure the back office is organised, clean, and compliant
- Support shop floor and customer service activities as required
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
- Previous experience in an HR generalist/admin role within a retail environment.
- Good knowledge of HR policies and best practices with hand-on experience in managing Employee relations cases.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes.
- Passion for retail and sound understanding of how this sector operates.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Effective communicator with confidence to work across multiple levels and stores.
- Discreet, approachable, and trusted with confidential information.
- Can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Fluent in English and French
