Benefits & 401(k) Administration
- Serve as the US benefits administration system owner.
- Lead annual open enrollment, ensuring accurate employee communication and seamless execution.
- Manage ongoing benefits transactions and life event changes.
- Administer 401(k) plan processes, including reconciliations, enrollments, annual audits, and compliance testing.
- Manage US leave programs, including FMLA, parental leave, medical leaves, and other statutory programs.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Lead & partner with the Americas team on employee relations activities, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
- Participate in employee meetings related to performance, conduct, and terminations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Review and recommend updates to policies and workflows to support compliance and efficiency.
- Onboarding & Offboarding
- Own and manage the onboarding and offboarding processes within the HRIS.
- Ensure smooth transitions for new hires and exiting employees, collaborating cross-functionally as needed.
- Cultivate an outstanding employee experience through responsive, high-quality HR support.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on people-related matters, organizational needs, and HR best practices.
HR Operations, HRIS, and Reporting
- Maintain and optimize HRIS data accuracy and serve as the point of contact for employee information and compensation updates.
- Generate monthly people metrics, including headcount and turnover, providing insights to support decision‑making.
- Support global people data consistency and reporting needs.
- General HR Program Support
- Support compensation, performance management, employee engagement, and learning & development programs.
- Support employee visa and work permit applications in the US and Canada, ensuring compliance with immigration and employment laws.
- Perform other HR duties as assigned in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
Skills and Experience
- 5-7 years of HR generalist experience.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
- Solid understanding of US employment laws, with multi‑state experience preferred.
- Experience with immigration administration in the US and Canada
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency using MS Excel and comfort working with people data.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and experience with HRIS platforms (BambooHR experience a plus).
- Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Ability to both follow established processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
