Why This Role?We’re hiring a Senior People Business Partner in London 🇬🇧 to help scale Cohere through a major phase of growth.
This is a strategic People leadership role partnering closely with our Engineering organisation and senior technical leaders inside one of the world’s leading AI companies.
At Cohere, Senior PBPs operate as trusted advisors to leadership teams and influential partners to the broader People organisation. You’ll support leaders across organisational design, leadership effectiveness, talent strategy, succession planning, and organisational health in a fast-scaling, globally distributed environment.
We’re still evolving parts of our People infrastructure and operating model, so this is a strong fit for someone energised by ambiguity, building, and improving ways of working in real time.

Cohere is committed to fair and transparent pay practices. The salary range listed for this role reflects the expected base compensation. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
For candidates in the UK, the Compensation Range is: 130,000 - 195,000 GBP
Note: This role is intended for candidates open to a London hybrid working arrangement due to the leadership teams supported by the role. We may post future roles at this level that are remote.

Skills Required
- 7-10 years of experience as a hands-on senior level HR Business Partner in fast-growing technology companies
- Experience making a large impact and cultivating leadership across an organization
- Deep understanding of scale-up culture and experience partnering with Engineering and non-Engineering leadership
- Track record of building strong strategic relationships and thriving in changing environments
- Experience scaling up a technology company globally and resolving complex people issues
