Role summary
As Senior HR Business Partner for the Benelux you'll be the strategic HR Partner for the Commercial functions within our Benelux zone (Marketing, Sales, Category, Commercial Finance, Commercial Operations etc). You will partner with functional managers to shape people strategy that drives commercial performance, capability building, and cultural priorities. You will manage 1 HR Analyst & 1 intern and deliver integrated HR solutions across talent, performance, organization design, employee relations and people analytics. You will operate in a fast-paced environment and ensure HR interventions are aligned to business objectives and regional/ global policies.
Key responsibilities
- Act as trusted advisor to our managers within the commercial functions on people strategy, organization design and capability development.
- Translate business priorities into practical HR initiatives that enable growth, effectiveness and function enablement.
- Lead talent planning, succession and critical role readiness for the functions; identify high-potential talents and design development plans.
- Partner with TA to ensure role profiles, go-to-market hiring strategies and candidate experience meet function needs.
- Drive performance management practices, calibration and development conversations across the functions; support managers with objective setting and talent calibration.
- Coach managers through change, ensuring minimal disruption to delivery and strong employee engagement.
- Ensure HR practices comply with regional and local legislation and global HR frameworks.
- Own HR metrics and reporting for the three functions (attrition, engagement, time-to-fill, bench strength, diversity) and use insights to influence decisions.
- Line manage and develop HR Analyst and Intern; allocate work, coach for impact, and ensure consistent delivery of HR services.
- Build team capability to be proactive, commercially-minded HR partners.

- Employee engagement scores for the full Business Unit
- Timely delivery of org changes and HR projects including strong communication
- Growth and development of individuals in our Business Unit
Required qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology or other unrelated fields (background in commercial can be a plus)
- Minimum of 6 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner role supporting senior managers.
- It is a pre if you have experience supporting Commercial functions and understand the complexity of a commercial Business Unit.
- Proven experience leading small HR teams and delivering strategic HR programs (talent management, org design, change).
- Strong knowledge of local employment legislation across the EPDM zone or demonstrated ability to work with local counsel/centers of expertise.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and coaching skills.
- Strong analytical capability and comfort using people data to drive recommendations.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
