The Opportunity

Ready to shape the future of people strategy in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders across multiple manufacturing locations. In this high-impact role, you will partner with senior leadership to drive business performance through innovative people strategies, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives.

You will play a key role in enabling business growth by providing strategic HR consulting, leadership coaching, and advocacy for HR programs and processes. This position offers the opportunity to influence organizational transformation, support change initiatives, and leverage data-driven insights to enhance business outcomes. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Provide coaching and guidance on leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development.
  • Lead and support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, measure outcomes, and support business decision-making.
  • Support organizational design, workforce planning, and restructuring initiatives.
  • Champion HR programs, policies, and best practices across multiple manufacturing locations.
  • Foster positive employee and labor relations while supporting a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Build collaborative relationships with local and international union leadership to address concerns and resolve disputes effectively.
Your Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 12 to 15 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and organizational development principles.
  • Experience supporting multi-site, multi-state manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with union leadership, handling grievances, and achieving effective dispute resolution outcomes.
