Leidos is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Manager (Sr HRBM) to join our best-in-class HR team. The Sr HRBM will be responsible for the overall people strategy and HR program execution for a large Government Solutions division as part of the Human Resources team.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role is an exciting opportunity to partner with senior business leaders in a dynamic and diverse business to design and deliver HR strategies and solutions to drive performance and growth. The position will require the development of strong working relationships and utilization of strong business acumen and leadership to effectively understand opportunities and needs on existing and new initiatives, and partner with multiple business functions to develop and shape solutions. The Sr HRBM will leverage matrixed HR SME’s from Centers of Expertise and an HR Shared Services organization to deliver high-quality, efficient services and solutions to the client. The Sr HRBM will partner with client groups in areas of focus such as: culture, performance management, talent development, employee relations, labor relations, organizational change management, total rewards, workforce strategy, strategic talent acquisition, leadership development and organizational development. The position will require the utilization of data analytics to understand and continuously improve organizational effectiveness and develop approaches to better attract, retain, develop and deploy talent to drive performance and growth. The Sr HRBM will also serve as a leader on Business Area and Sector HR teams and will have the opportunity to lead initiatives impacting the larger organization.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration (or related field or equivalent experience) and 12+ years of relevant experience. Broad HR subject matter expertise including experience as HR Generalist/Business Partner with at least 2 years of experience in a role supporting senior and/or executive leadership at a mid- to large-sized company.
- Strong business acumen with an ability to diagnose and support data-driven decision-making to drive organizational change.
- Experience developing HR strategies and solutions aligned to business and enterprise HR strategy.
- Proactive solution designer able to think big picture while being resourceful in creating innovative, agile solutions focused on results.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience leading and driving change within client groups.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, partner, consult, coach and influence senior leaders.
- Proven ability to lead team and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Strong talent management experience.
- Strong employee relations experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to distill complex issues into executive-level presentation.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for a Government contractor.
- Experience supporting proposals, winning new business, and implementing new programs.
- HR professional or other relevant certification.
- Current or previous Leidos experience a plus.
- Advanced degree.
