Amentum is seeking a Hardware Engineer Senior to support the Space Force Range contract (SFRC).
Essential Functions:
- Design and develop integrated solutions to meet business requirements or enhance performance.
- Integrates the hardware and software functions within the Communications subsystem and coordinates across all LTRS subsystems.
- Analyzes potential systems and prepares supporting documentation for current and future performance, stability, interoperability, and systems management/life cycle issues.
- Analyzes, decomposes, and allocates requirements from the subsystem level down through the CI level to specific projects.
- Analyzes range deficiencies to identify and prioritize proposed projects to address those deficiencies.
- Applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques and assists in the development, implementation and documentation of impact assessments, architecture change recommendations and CONOPS change recommendations.
- Provides technical consultation and expertise on communications systems modeling and simulation.
- Supports other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or related engineering field.
- Experience working with computer hardware, operating system software and desktop applications with a specific concentration in communications instrumentation
- Experience working with design principles and applications.
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project requirements.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual starting salary for this position is between $130,000 or $140,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
