The Community You Will Join:

The Marketing Operations team is at the intersection of Marketing, MarTech, and Creative, playing a critical role in driving the company’s top-line growth. We focus on executing user-facing campaigns across channels like email, push, and in-app messaging to enhance activation, engagement, retention, and reactivation. Supporting the global Engagement Marketing team, we work closely with MarTech, Creative, and Localization partners to deliver impactful, world-class campaigns.


The Difference You Will Make:

You’ll oversee the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring they are timely, performance-driven, and aligned with business goals. You’ll manage workflows, uphold data accuracy, and facilitate seamless collaboration across teams and systems. Success in this role is defined by the delivery of impactful campaigns that boost engagement, increase bookings, and enhance operational efficiency and scalability.


A Typical Day: 

  • Design and implement dynamic, personalized content in emails using segmentation, automation tools, and behavioral triggers. Ensure content is tailored for different audience segments to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Write and optimize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email templates and campaigns. Ensure emails render correctly across all devices and email clients. Lead the development of responsive email templates, working within established brand guidelines and best practices for email deliverability.
  • Monitor email deliverability and work with MarTech and compliance teams to ensure that emails are sent in accordance with regulations such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other relevant industry standards. Address deliverability issues and implement solutions to ensure consistent inbox delivery.
  • Own campaign production workflow and calendar, ensuring that the Production team has all the information they need to begin and complete production as required for each campaign, and actively identify / seek out missing information needed to launch. 
  • Collaborate with partners in Program Management,  Localization,  International partners, Email Marketing, and Creative to continuously improve overall campaigns and operational efficiency



Your Expertise:

  • 8 + years experience building and executing high-volume, large scale personalized email / push campaigns of varying complexity, 
  • Has a high level of expertise and familiarity with enterprise-level ESPs; able to navigate any ESP effortlessly. Experience with custom built in-house CRM systems is a plus. 
  • Experience with dynamic content, personalization, and behavioral triggers within email campaigns. Strong understanding of email deliverability and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with APIs for integrating dynamic content and automating processes.
  • Highly advantageous to have experience in one or more of the following: Iterable, Braze, Marketo, Marketing Cloud, HubSpot
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring that emails are perfectly formatted, free of errors, and fully functional across all platforms.
  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical and non-technical information to stakeholders. Proven leadership skills in managing and mentoring a team.

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
