The Senior Graphic Specialist is responsible for leading visual excellence across digital, print, and packaging projects while mentoring the creative team. The role oversees high-quality design execution, manages project distribution and team workloads, and collaborates with clients, designers, and creative leadership to deliver sophisticated, production-ready visual solutions that meet brand standards and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization, development, and execution of high-quality visual strategies and design solutions.
- Oversee design deliverables to ensure consistency with client brand standards and quality expectations.
- Mentor mid-level and junior designers by providing guidance, technical reviews, and constructive feedback.
- Review and validate team deliverables before final approval.
- Collaborate with project managers and leadership to assess project scope, allocate resources, balance workloads, and ensure timely delivery.
- Improve design workflows, asset management processes, and production templates to enhance team efficiency.
- Stay current with emerging design trends, software, and production techniques.
- Prepare, pre-flight, and package files for digital, web, print, and packaging production.
- Proven experience as a Senior Graphic Designer, Senior Graphic Specialist, or Lead Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing digital, editorial, branding, and/or print design work.
- Advanced knowledge of typography, brand architecture, layout design, color theory, and illustration.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience with Adobe InDesign and Adobe XD is an advantage.
- Comfortable working in a macOS environment.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects or Generative AI design workflows is an advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership experience mentoring designers and managing team dynamics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workloads, and perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to independently execute strategic creative direction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead client meetings, present design concepts, explain creative decisions, and manage client feedback professionally.
