The Graphic Design Senior Specialist is responsible for liaising with senior stakeholders to create visual design elements used for digital and print media. The specialist utilizes creative software to produce designs that meet the needs of internal stakeholders at various levels across R&D. The Senior Specialist consults with end users to take complex information and conceptualizes and executes graphic design outcomes in support of effective communication plans. This individual collaborates with stakeholders and other internal/external graphic designers to deliver quality, effective work in a timely manner that aligns with stakeholder objectives.
A Typical Day Might Look Like this:

Create graphics for brochures, posters, email newsletters, mass emails, intranet pages, infographics, and any other necessary graphic-based communications

Design logos for company initiatives, internal departments, and subgroups

Design presentation templates and slide decks for company and department presentations

Work with leaders to design presentations decks for internal and external use

Provide creative/design consultation for colleagues across R&D helping to turn complex messaging into easily digestible visuals

Ensure stakeholder objectives are delivered, suggesting various options to meet those objectives

Employs expert knowledge of visual design including color, typography, illustration, and layout when designing projects moving forward to final production

Maintain customer service standards

Maintains filing system and repository of all work
To be considered you must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years' experience in a graphics role. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, outlook, power point, etc.). Strong attention to detail. Comfortably work independently but above all be a team player
Strong multi-tasking, time management and organization skills. Superior verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills
Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
