Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior GCP & Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in multi-cloud architecture, DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, cloud networking, observability, and cloud security. You will work closely with development, QA, security, architecture, and operations teams to streamline software delivery, automate infrastructure management, and improve platform reliability across GCP and OCI environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure across GCP and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Design and support multi-cloud architectures, connectivity, and workloads spanning GCP and OCI.
- Implement reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and automated provisioning using Terraform.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Google Cloud Build, OCI DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and Argo CD.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, configuration management, monitoring, patching, and operational tasks.
- Implement and manage cloud networking, including VPC/VCN, subnets, routing, load balancers, DNS, VPNs, firewalls/security lists, NAT gateways, and private connectivity.
- Implement IAM, identity federation, service accounts, OCI dynamic groups, policies, and least-privilege access controls.
- Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using Google Cloud Operations Suite, OCI Monitoring, OCI Logging, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Optimize cloud resources across GCP and OCI for performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and cost efficiency.
- Design and support backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity strategies across cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues and participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and remediation.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment, release management, and platform engineering processes.
- Implement and enforce DevSecOps, vulnerability management, secrets management, policy enforcement, and compliance standards.
- Support container and artifact security, vulnerability scanning, and secure software supply-chain practices.
- Maintain technical documentation, cloud architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps, automation, security, and cloud engineering best practices across teams.
