Job Title:Senior Fund Accountant

Description

This is an exciting opportunity for Senior Fund Accountant who will be responsible for the end‑to‑end accounting, reporting, and operational support of the funds. This role requires technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate has solid experience in fund operations, NAV calculation, financial reporting, and client & investor servicing.

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to performing and coordinating a variety of administrative duties and tasks including

Fund Accounting & NAV Reporting

  • Prepare and review quarterly/annually NAV calculations, including valuation, accruals, fee calculations, and investor allocations
  • Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of all fund transactions
  • Prepare capital activities including subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, and distributions
  • Monitor cash movements, reconcile bank accounts, and ensure proper documentation
  • Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors
  • Respond to investor inquiries and maintain accurate investor records

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Tax, and Investor Relations to ensure accurate and timely fund reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal team members to gather data, resolve discrepancies, and support end‑to‑end fund accounting workflows.
  • Work with external service providers such as auditors or Legal to support NAV production, audit processes, and regulatory reporting.
  • Act as a key liaison across departments to ensure smooth execution of capital activities, portfolio transactions, and financial reporting cycles.

  

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (private equity, hedge fund, FoF, or asset management)
  • Experience with fund administrators is a plus
