Role Description
We are looking for a Senior BI Developer (10–12 years) with primary expertise in Tableau / BI and secondary strength in Oracle database development.
The ideal candidate will specialize in building enterprise-scale BI solutions, crafting high-impact dashboards, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The role requires strong skills in data integration, reporting, and performance optimization, along with the ability to understand data lineage and troubleshoot across systems.
Hands-on exposure to AI-assisted development (Copilot, LLMs, agents, RAG) is mandatory to drive productivity and engineering innovation.

Your key responsibilities
Data Engineering & Integration
- Develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines across multiple data sources
- Work across ETL/ELT ecosystems ensuring data consistency and reliability
- Perform data analysis, debugging, and RCA across upstream/downstream systems
- Understand and document data lineage across complex landscapes
Your skills and experience
BI/Tableau Skills
- 10–12 years of experience in Business Intelligence Solutions & Development.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Tableau dashboards for executive reporting and analytics storytelling
- Build advanced dashboards with high interactivity and performance
- Implement:
- LOD expressions, parameters, sets, advanced calculated fields
- Action filters, highlight actions, navigation & URL actions
- Design Tableau data models and semantic layers
- Optimize dashboards using Tableau performance recording and query tuning techniques
- Integrate Tableau with:
- External systems using REST / Metadata / Embedding APIs
- TabPy for advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases
- Develop and deploy Python-based models integrated into Tableau dashboards
- Build reusable frameworks, extensions, and embed dashboards into portals/applications
- Handle large-scale datasets (millions to billions of rows) efficiently
- Manage:
- Live vs Extract strategy
- Data blending, joins, and custom SQL
- Support API-driven and near real-time dashboards
- Manage Tableau Server/Cloud operations, scheduling, and report automation
- Develop and maintain Oracle SQL & PL/SQL components (procedures, functions)
- Write efficient SQL queries and support performance optimization
- Work with:
- Indexing and basic partitioning concepts
- Materialized views and refresh mechanisms
- Handle large datasets and support batch execution workflows
- Collaborate on job scheduling (Control-M / DB scheduler integration)
- Support debugging and issue resolution across database layers
- Hands-on experience with:
- GitHub Copilot / AI code assistants
- AI agents, tools, and orchestration frameworks
- Working knowledge of:
- LLMs (Large Language Models)
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
- MCP / tool integration patterns
- Ability to apply AI for:
- Code generation & optimization
- Debugging and root cause analysis
- Improving developer productivity
- Strong understanding of:
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)
