Senior Full Stack Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with a proven background in Generative AI, Agentic Workflows, and Cloud Systems to design and deploy enterprise-grade intelligence platforms for our Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Agentic AI & GenAI Systems Architecture
• Autonomous Multi-Agent Systems: Design, orchestrate, and deploy robust multi-agent graphs using LangGraph and LangChain for complex pharma workflows (e.g., automated literature synthesis, adverse event extraction, clinical trial protocol drafting, internal code/data validation)
• Enterprise RAG Architectures: Build and benchmark advanced RAG pipelines incorporating hybrid semantic search, domain-specific embeddings (e.g., BioBERT, PubMedBERT), reranking, and chunking strategies on AWS OpenSearch and vector datastores
• AWS Bedrock & Model Orchestration: Integrate foundation models (Claude/Anthropic, Llama, custom fine-tuned bio-LLMs) via AWS Bedrock. Experience implementing AWS Bedrock Agents / AgentCore and custom Action Groups for structured downstream execution
• Agent Governance & Safety: Build deterministic guardrails using Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, automated citation attribution, hallucinations detection, human-in-the-loop (HITL) checkpoints, and audit trails required for clinical reproducibility
• Full-Stack Microservices & Platform Engineering
• Backend Development: Build production-grade, asynchronous RESTful and streaming APIs using Python (FastAPI), managing complex state lifecycles and background worker processes (Celery/Redis/SQS)
• Frontend Engineering: Engineer rich, responsive web applications in React.js (TypeScript), crafting intuitive interfaces for complex clinical dashboards, token-streaming chats, graph visualizations, and validation workflows
• Database & Persistence: Design high-throughput relational and non-relational schemas (PostgreSQL/PGVector, DynamoDB, DocumentDB/MongoDB) handling structured metadata and unstructured clinical assets
• Cloud, Security & Regulatory Compliance (GxP / Healthcare)
• Cloud Infrastructure: Architect containerized solutions using Docker, orchestrated via AWS ECS (Fargate) or Kubernetes, paired with serverless triggers (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, S3)
• Pharma & Healthcare Compliance: Implement end-to-end data security controls for PHI/PII protection in compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11
• Auditability & Validation: Implement immutable audit logging, SOUP (Software of Unknown Provenance) scanning, anti-malware workflows, SonarQube quality gates, and automated test pipelines using pytest and Playwright/Selenium

Requirements: 

• Total Experience: 6+ years of full-stack software development, with at least 2 years of direct experience building and deploying GenAI and Agentic workflows in production
• Python Mastery: Expert in Python 3.x, FastAPI, async programming, and enterprise API design patterns
• Modern Frontend: Strong hands-on proficiency in React.js, state management (Redux Toolkit/Zustand), WebSockets/Server-Sent Events (SSE) for real-time model streaming, and scientific data visualization libraries
• Production Agentic AI
• Proven production deployment of agentic workflows using LangGraph (state graphs, cyclical workflows, reflection, and multi-agent debate/handoffs) and LangChain
• Deep experience in Tool Calling, Function Calling, Dynamic Routing, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Hands-on expertise building enterprise RAG systems with query rewriting, self-correction, and hybrid search
• AWS Ecosystem: Deep hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock, OpenSearch, ECS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and EventBridge
• DevOps & Testing: Solid containerization expertise (Docker), GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions, static security analysis, unit testing (pytest), and integration testing

Desirable:

• Domain Knowledge: Prior exposure to Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Clinical Trials, Pharmacovigilance, or Medical Imaging (DICOM standards, AWS HealthImaging, clinical data formats such as CDISC/FHIR/HL7)
• AWS Agentic Specialization: Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock Agents / AgentCore configuration and OpenAPI schemas
• Model Training & Fine-Tuning: Familiarity with hosting and experimenting with specialized open-weight models (BioMistral, Med-PaLM, Ollama, Hugging Face) using AWS SageMaker
• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) or AWS Machine Learning Specialty
