Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in React for front-end development and Node.js or Java for back-end development to design, build, and scale modern web applications. This role requires a hands-on senior engineer with deep technical expertise who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about building high-quality, high-performing, and maintainable software.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Experience Designers, and Software Engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions that power critical business capabilities.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications
Build responsive, high-performance user interface components using React
Develop robust back-end services and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using Node.js and/or Java, with Spring Boot preferred
Design and develop Representational State Transfer (REST) and/or GraphQL APIs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new product features
Lead technical design discussions and mentor junior engineers
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with comprehensive test coverage
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability
Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices
Contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps processes
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while driving continuous improvement
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in React, including Hooks, Context API, and state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand
Strong back-end development experience with Node.js using Express or NestJS and/or Java using Spring Boot
Experience designing, building, and consuming Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs
Solid understanding of data modeling and experience working with relational or NoSQL databases
Experience implementing authentication and authorization using technologies such as OAuth, JSON Web Tokens (JWT), and Single Sign-On (SSO)
Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud platforms
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, and distributed systems
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing GraphQL APIs and modern front-end architectures
Experience working with microservices and event-driven architectures
Experience using Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
Experience working in Agile software development environments
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks, performance optimization, and application monitoring tools
Experience building enterprise-scale cloud-native applications

Collaborates effectively with Product Managers, Experience Designers, and engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
Shares technical knowledge, mentors less experienced engineers, and contributes to a culture of continuous learning
Communicates technical concepts clearly and works effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
Continuously improves engineering practices through code reviews, automation, testing, and operational excellence
Adapts quickly to new technologies and embraces modern development practices, including Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted software development
Demonstrates accountability, curiosity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment

Skills Required
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
