Your day at NTT DATA

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong background in cross-platform mobile app development. As a part of the team, this specialized role would contribute to planning, designing, and executing the migration of Xamarin apps to .NET MAUI. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth transition of mobile apps to a supported platform.

What you'll be doing

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients in the planning and design phase of application development projects to determine client needs and solution design. Initially this will involve:
  • Collaborating with clients and other team members to assess and plan the migration of clients' Xamarin apps
  • Designing and architecting migrated mobile app solutions ensuring that the new app maintains or enhances the user experience and functionality of the existing Xamarin app
• Provide technical leadership to project application development teams
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Develop applications that effectively accomplish client objectives and user needs
• Address technical challenges and troubleshoot issues that may arise during projects
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
• Create comprehensive technical documentation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes

• Proficiency in C# and .NET framework
• Proven experience in cross-platform mobile development (Xamarin app development: Xamarin.Forms, Xamarin.Native and XAML)
• Familiarity with .NET MAUI
• Experience with migration projects, refactoring, and code optimization
• Experience in technical lead role
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of mobile app design principles and UI/UX concepts
• Familiarity with version control systems.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering
