JOB OVERVIEW
As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies will enable you to create scalable, high-performance systems. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, diverse team of developers, Business Analysts, Delivery Managers, Product Managers, Marketing professionals, to deliver seamless user experiences. This role is instrumental in delivering high-quality digital solutions that foster engagement with students, partners, and key stakeholders.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Develop new websites, applications, and services. Maintain and support existing websites and applications.
  • Extending and developing integrations between web applications, Kontent CMS, Salesforce CRM, and a variety of other applications and services, both internal and external
  • Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and mentoring
  • Maintain system usability, perform upgrades and improve efficiency by taking advantage of new features, emerging technology and adhering to best practices
  • Deliver or assist in projects as agreed with the Steering Group and Change Control Board
  • Capture and document both functional and technical requirements
  • Produce high quality software meeting the needs of the business and provide timely and accurate estimates.
  • Deliver software to agreed timeframes and quality benchmarks. 
  • Document solutions and maintenance processes

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineer or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years commercial experience.
  • Broad experience of the full software development cycle.
  • Experience of developing and delivering solutions to deadline and budget, using a combination of in-house and off the shelf software.
  • Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong proficiency in
    • .NET and C#
    • SQL, MS SQL Server
    • Design patterns and architecture principles
    • Experience with RESTful API, OData services including knowledge of microservice architecture
    • Unit testing
    • Version control systems – GIT, Pull Requests
    • Proficient in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript, including front-end frameworks
  • Experience in the following areas is an advantage:
    • Salesforce CRM
    • CI/CD pipelines – Azure DevOps
    • Agile methodologies
    • PM2
    • NX Monorepos
    • Next.js / React, Angular
    • Typescript
    • E2E testing
