Job DescriptionSenior Full Stack Developer / Engineering Lead – .NET & JavaScript
US Bank are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer who can design, develop, and lead the creation of top-notch internal tools and platforms. This role is perfect for someone who excels in environments that value autonomy, innovation, and making a direct impact on business outcomes. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team focused on building user-driven applications that automate operations, streamline workflows, and support regulatory and risk reporting across the business. They will work closely with operations, data teams, and senior stakeholders to shape systems used daily by hundreds of users.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build robust full-stack applications using the Microsoft stack (.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, EF)
Architect and develop dynamic, configurable web-based platforms for internal business users
Implement data visualization and reporting tools (D3.js, ECharts) to replace inefficient EUC solutions
Create APIs and background services for real-time processing and automation
Build UI components with Bootstrap, HTML/CSS, and drag-and-drop functionality
Integrate tools with Outlook and Exchange for advanced email workflow automation
Ensure all solutions are well-tested, version-controlled, and auditable
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Risk, and IT
Support product rollouts, user training, and continuous improvement cycles
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
10+ years in software engineering with experience across the full stack
Deep hands-on expertise with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, JavaScript, EF (EF6 and EF Core)
Experience building internal platforms or tools used by non-technical business users
Strong frontend skills: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, D3.js or similar libraries
Experience with MongoDB, SQL Server, and data-driven applications
Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange / Outlook integration (EWS or add-ins)
Ability to lead technical projects from concept to delivery
Knowledge of risk/control frameworks and regulatory data processes is a plus
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with a passion for delivering high-value solutions that scale
Bonus Skills:
SignalR, Angular, NLP/AI integration experience
Experience modernizing legacy systems
Knowledge of operational risk tooling
Location
The role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
