AgentSync builds modern insurance infrastructure that connects carriers, agencies, MGAs, and producers.
The Role
Build and own accessible, performant React and TypeScript features across AgentSync’s product. Lead frontend architecture, monorepo evolution, shared component libraries, and design systems while contributing to Go or Java backend services and APIs. Translate ambiguous product problems into plans, use AI-assisted development tools, embed intelligent product experiences, and raise engineering quality through testing, code reviews, mentorship, and strong ownership.
Summary Generated by Built In

AgentSync started in 2018 with one conviction: compliance shouldn't be this hard. It should enable it. We're a venture backed category-defining SaaS company headquartered in Denver. We've raised $161 million from investors including Craft Ventures, Valor Equity Partners, and Marc Benioff.

Our culture runs on four values: customer love, inspire excellence, always be curious, and act like an owner. That means no ego, no politics, and real ownership over your work. If you want to build something that matters for an industry that's ready for change, we'd love to talk.

Overview

Insurance powers almost everything, and yet the systems behind it are still held together with spreadsheets and manual processes. AgentSync is fixing that. We build modern infrastructure for carriers, agencies, and MGAs that makes compliance automatic and growth possible.

In this role you'll own the experience layer of the AgentSync app and carry features end to end, from the React experience our customers touch through to the Go and Java services that power it. We hire product-minded engineers who think like owners — people who care as much about the customer and the craft of the experience as the code behind it. Our teams run lean, with a high engineer-to-PM ratio and no dedicated designer, which means the engineers closest to the work are the ones defining what great looks like. We move fast, we build with intention, and we expect everyone to bring their full capability to the work — including knowing when and how to use AI to do it better.

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who is primarily frontend but genuinely full stack. You'll spend most of your time in the new AgentSync App, which we're building from the ground up in our TypeScript and React monorepo. You'll own the quality and architecture of that experience, and carry your work into our Go backend-for-frontend and services when a feature needs it rather than handing it off. You'll help shape the path forward for our frontend architecture and design system.

What You’ll Do
  • Build high-quality, accessible, performant features in React and TypeScript across multiple product areas of the new AgentSync App
  • Own features end to end: the React experience, the API it depends on, and the service changes behind it, including UX, without waiting for a designer to hand you a spec
  • Evolve our frontend monorepo, shared packages, build tooling, and the boundaries between apps and help shape the path forward for our frontend architecture
  • Build and extend a shared component library and design system for consistent UX across product areas
  • Work in our Go backend-for-frontend and services when a feature calls for it, shaping the API responses and generated types the UI depends on
  • Work in an AI-native development process: use Claude to turn product requirements into well-scoped stories, write and review code, and generate tests also help refine the workflows, prompts, and standards that make it work for the whole team
  • Use AI design tools — Claude Design where it makes sense — to move from idea to working UI faster
  • Identify opportunities to embed intelligent, AI-assisted experiences into the product
  • Take vague problems from Product and turn them into a scoped, sequenced plan, written clearly enough that teammates or AI agents can carry it out, and surface risks and tradeoffs early
  • Raise the quality bar through clean, well-tested code, focused pull requests, high-leverage code reviews, and mentorship that works by example rather than gatekeeping
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years building and shipping production, mobile-responsive web applications
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development, using tools like Claude to generate stories, write and review code, and produce tests with a point of view on where they help and where they don't. Experience on a team where AI agents build from well-written specs is a big plus
  • Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, plus modern frontend tooling, state management, and testing (experience with React Query, MUI, Vite, Vitest, or Playwright is a plus)
  • Strong web fundamentals — HTML, CSS, accessibility, responsive design, and performance
  • A strong design and UX sensibility and be comfortable owning the experience without a dedicated designer
  • Experience building or contributing to shared component libraries and design systems
  • Experience working in and evolving a frontend monorepo (e.g. Turborepo, Nx, or Yarn workspaces), with a point of view on keeping shared packages and app boundaries healthy
  • Working backend experience in Go or Java (Go preferred), with a solid understanding of APIs, OpenAPI-generated clients, relational data, and how the full system fits together
  • Familiarity with OAuth/OIDC sign-in flows, feature flags, and frontend observability is a plus
  • A reputation as a strong reviewer and mentor who raises the technical bar across a team without managing them
  • Clear communicator with a strong ownership mentality. You take a half-formed problem and come back with a plan, align engineering and product around it, and surface risks and tradeoffs early
  • Familiarity with AWS is beneficial
  • A scrappy, gritty, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality — you thrive with ambiguity and ownership
