Eye Security is a European scale up providing cyber security with embedded cyber insurance to SMBs in Europe. Our cyber security innovations, state-of-the-art automation and platforms are being built and maintained by our Product & Engineering Teams. Our engineers and product managers collaborate closely with cyber security experts to ensure that their hacker's mindset is embedded into our platform. Our platform is a proprietary Open XDR (eXtended Detection Response) system that brings in security data from several market leading cyber security products into our centralized repository. From here cyber security experts can work their magic. This makes sure that our hundreds of customers experience the same value via automated systems, allowing us to scale in Europe.

Your role at Eye Security

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our front end technology infrastructure. This role combines deep front end technical expertise with strategic thinking and leadership to drive the evolution of our user experiences and front end architecture.

As our Senior Frontend Engineer, you will own the technical vision and will be responsible for ensuring our products deliver exceptional user experiences while maintaining high engineering standards across performance, accessibility, and maintainability. You'll work at the intersection of design, product, and engineering—translating business goals into elegant, scalable front end solutions.

Our Frontend tech stack includes the following technologies:

• React

• TailwindCSS ( styling )

• Playwright ( e2e testing )

• Vite ( Frontend Build tooling )

• Vitest ( unit testing )

• MSW ( Mocking layer )
  

In this role

• Build and ship high-impact features - writing production code daily, leading end-to-end delivery of complex user-facing projects, and resolving critical technical challenges in production

• Own our front end technical vision and architecture - defining our framework strategy, tooling, component libraries, and patterns while making critical decisions about performance, scalability, and maintainability

• Collaborate with Product and Design to shape what we build - influencing product direction early in the process, translating designs into exceptional user experiences, and advocating for technical investments that drive business value

• Establish engineering standards and best practices - driving quality through testing strategies, accessibility requirements, performance benchmarks, and tooling improvements that accelerate the entire team

What you will need

• 5+ years of Typescript experience- to demonstrate an expert-level proficiency in React (or some other related modern typescript-based language) and the broader front end ecosystem, with a proven track record of architecting scalable, performant applications

• Demonstrated technical leadership experience - a history of leading complex, multi-quarter front end projects from design through delivery, making architectural decisions, and setting technical direction for teams

• Strong product and business acumen - ability to understand customer needs and business goals, translate them into technical solutions, and advocate for engineering investments by articulating their impact on users and key metrics

• Excellent communication and mentorship skills - proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, provide actionable feedback, mentor engineers, and influence decision-making across engineering, product, and design

• Fluency in English is a must.
