We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Front-end Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading our Arbitrage frontend web development working hand in hand with the Product and the design team. This new project's aim is to analyse crude oil market trends, including supply-demand fundamentals, pricing dynamics, refinery margins, and geopolitical impacts. The goal is for our users to be able to easily visualise market trends in real time.
Your mission is to:
- Lead the development, and optimisation of web applications using Vue and TypeScript.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and project requirements.
- Work in unison with the backend team to design efficient APIs to display data in a performant manner.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance, solving complex technical challenges and proposing innovative solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, fostering their professional growth and expertise.
It will be a match if you are or have:
- Strong experience with TypeScript within modern SPA frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.
- Experience implementing design systems and component libraries.
- Expertise in front-end testing strategies and techniques (unit, component, e2e, TDD).
- Proficiency with full-stack technologies and languages, including TypeScript, Node.js, REST.
- Experience with maintaining git monorepos and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Acons, Nx).
- Experience creating and implementing Micro-frontend applications (module federation).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of software engineering principles.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with RxJS library and GraphQL will be a plus.
