We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our Analytics Platform team in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Our analytics platform powers our portfolio. Data is growing rapidly and is highly fragmented across different departments, and organizations are looking to adopt open software to keep up with the pace of technology. These market shifts require security organizations to deploy an analytics platform that can connect different solutions from either Cognyte or third parties to effectively develop new capabilities.
As a Cognyter you will:
- Design and build rich and complex SPA web applications using React and NodeJS
- Work using Scrum as a part of a friendly team
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Software Engineers from several countries on your way to complete your tasks
- Take part in technical decisions and strategy to further the long-term product vision
- Refactor and optimize currently existing code and documentation
- Perform code reviews
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
- Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies and attend in company organized trainings every year
For that mission you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience
- Excellent knowledge of modern front-end technologies – JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience with React, TypeScript and functional components
- Experience with and knowledge of the broader React ecosystem
- Experience with NodeJS, MongoDB
- Experience working in a monorepo with shared internal packages across multiple applications
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes on GCP will be considered as a plus
- Experience with Vite will be a plus
- Experience in performance monitoring will be a plus
- Strong ability to leverage AI tools to improve development efficiency and quality
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong command of the English Language verbal and written
- An endlessly curious mind
