The Division:
MembersFirst helps hundreds of member-based organizations attract, engage and retain a vibrant and actively involved membership. We deliver the industry's premier end-to-end technology solution by combining expert website design, development and consultancy services with a complete set of tools to power content management, email marketing, social networking, search engine services, mobile marketing, reservations and club management.
The Position:
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a proven ability to translate detailed design mockups into responsive, high-quality, and maintainable websites.
This role requires someone who can work independently as well as collaboratively with designers, developers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver visually polished and technically sound web experiences. The successful candidate will be expected to manage multiple projects, troubleshoot front-end issues, follow coding standards, and contribute to continuous improvement within the development team. The successful hires will work from the Contour Software Karachi office as part of the resource-center team that is an extension of the division-based R&D department.
Responsibilities:
Develop responsive, cross-browser compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Translate highly detailed custom design mockups (Sketch & Figma) and incorporate project requirements into clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve front-end issues while ensuring optimal website performance.
Collaborate with designers, developers, project managers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain consistency with the team’s coding standards, accessibility guidelines, and best practices.
Manage concurrent projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Communicate project status and technical considerations clearly to team members.
Required Qualifications:
Expert in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong understanding of responsive web design and modern front-end development best practices.
Ability to quickly learn new CMS technologies (MRM).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; always thinking ahead.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Experience
Experience using JIRA for bug tracking, fixes, and reporting.
Experience with responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility best practices.
