Senior FP&A Analyst

Position Overview

Provide critical finance support for the Hunter Douglas Dealer business, the largest business unit in Hunter Douglas. This position reports to the FP&A Director, and will work closely with the rest of the Finance team as well as with various teams across the company. We are looking for a self-starter who possesses strong analytical skills and communicates findings articulately to a wide variety of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who is able to analyze large datasets, be proactive and enthusiastic as they dig into the data and trends, have a desire to understand the business, as well as show initiative by identifying and solving problems.

What you'll do

• Lead the operating expense and balance sheet/cash flow forecasting and analysis; playing a key role in ZBB budgets, forecasts, and other ad-hoc analysis
• Support the enterprise-wide annual budget process, including consolidating inputs across the organization and delivering an informed perspective on results
• Maintain & prepare weekly, monthly, & quarterly materials for financial review meetings, highlighting variances to Forecast/Plan/Prior Year and utilizing findings to inform future assumptions and business models
• Build and analyze dashboards in Excel and data visualization tools, drawing conclusions and insights to provide recommendations and proposals for Finance and across the organization
• Assist with the investigation, evaluation, and assessment of data, while partnering with business intelligence to develop standardized reporting and dashboards
• Strive to improve processes, reporting, procedures, and assist the team with ad hoc requests as needed
• Utilize insights to drive forecasting improvements and operating decisions
• Responsible for keeping the financial records in accordance with local accounting principles, tax, legal and Hunter Douglas requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining the internal controls for the business unit.
• Collaborate and work cross functionally with other departments on strategic projects, ensuring all functions are working towards one common goal.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting of finance; Masters and/or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in related positions, preferentially with international exposure.
• Results oriented with proven ability to develop and execute strategically.
• Exceptional financial acumen and analytical skills, strong business acumen, ability to work cross functionally and excellent communication skills.
• Outstanding people management skills, including attracting, selecting, developing and leading top talent to improve and grow the business.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to changing work environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Accomplished in driving change, achieving results and continuously improving performance.
