Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Firmware design for optical communication products
Design and implement firmware for microcontrollers (e.g., MCU, such as STM32, ESP32, etc) and other embedded platforms
Develop low-level drivers (GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, etc.) and integrate peripherals
Ensure reliable and efficient communication between hardware modules and software systems
Develop GUI for firmware debugging and Lab engineering investigation.
Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware and firmware with application layers
Create and maintain design documents (memory map, register file, etc) and test reports.
FW related troubleshooting or failure analysis
Job Requirements:
Required Skills:
Proficiency in microcontrollers
Experience writing low-level drivers (GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, PWM, etc.).
Experience with FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or other real-time operating systems.
Use of tools like JTAG, SWD, and in-circuit debuggers
Familiar with industry standards and design regulatory, such as IEEE 802.3, OIF, MSA standard, CMIS specification, etc.
Understanding of firmware flashing, updating methods, and version control.
Good experience in analog and digital circuit design
Knowledge of electronic components (MCUs, ASIC, sensors, laser driver, TEC controller, regulators, etc.).
Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
Knowledge and experience on semiconductor laser for optic communication application
Strong skill on Failure analysis, root cause study and improvement solution
Qualifications:
MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, photoelectric, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the related industry
Independent Firmware development experience for mass production product.
Good communications skills, written and verbal, in English and Mandarin
Well organized
Good willing to take reasonability.
