Think you have what it takes?
We're looking for a highly skilled Senior BI Analyst with a strong finance and accounting background to drive meaningful insights through our data platform. This role is focused on translating complex financial data into clear, actionable reporting — supporting cashflow visibility, forecasting accuracy, and the metrics that guide business decisions. You'll partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and FP&A teams on a small, focused Business Intelligence team to ensure our data is clean, timely, and built to inform planning at every level.
How You’ll Contribute:
Financial Dashboard & Report Creation: Design and build complex dashboards tailored to finance and accounting use cases — including cashflow tracking, revenue and expense forecasting, budget vs. actuals, and period-over-period variance reporting.
FP&A & Forecasting Support: Partner with FP&A and Accounting teams to translate financial models and forecasts into scalable, automated BI solutions. Support monthly close reporting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning workflows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Leadership to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored, decision-ready analytics solutions.
Platform Innovation: Stay current on BI platform capabilities and evaluate how emerging features — including intelligent workflows and automation — can improve financial reporting efficiency.
Requirements
What Skills You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 5 years as a Senior BI Analyst or similar role, with demonstrated experience supporting Finance or Accounting teams. Hands-on exposure to cashflow reporting, financial forecasting, and FP&A workflows is required.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting cycles, and key finance metrics. Ability to translate business and accounting logic into data models and dashboard logic without heavy hand-holding from the finance team.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred. CPA or finance certifications are a plus.
- Advanced SQL skills; strong experience with data modeling, ETL/dataflow design, and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Domo; comfortable working with large, complex datasets across multiple financial systems and sources; familiarity with ERP or accounting platforms (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) is highly valued.
- Strong communicator who can bridge the gap between technical data work and finance stakeholder needs — able to translate complex data into clear financial narratives.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving reporting needs, month-end pressures, and shifting business priorities.
How You'll Stand Out
- Hands-on experience with Domo is a strong plus.
- Background building cashflow models, rolling forecasts, or budget vs. actuals dashboards in any major BI platform.
- Experience working directly in or alongside an FP&A or Accounting function.
- Familiarity with financial consolidation, multi-entity reporting, or intercompany eliminations.
Benefits
- Work-Life Balance
- People First Company
- Hybrid/Remote work policy
- Working directly with peers in the US
