Job Description

Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for a supporting multiple forecasting, causaling and reporting processes and analyses in support Rockwell's businesses and regions. You will use global consolidation financial systems EPM, SAP and Power BI to provide performance reporting and insight on a variety of important financial metrics including commercial expenses, sales and capital project spending. You will engage with other finance teams and partners to develop financial plans and forecasts and analyze actual performance against those goals. The Analyst also works to automate processes and support simplification and standardization efforts.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop financial plans using partner input and applying standard tools to allow clear explanations for financial performance in a region, function or business.
  • Maintain spend reporting including regional and department performance
  • Present and explain financial performance and main variances and changes vs. forecast, plan and prior year
  • Support the transfer of workload between finance organizations within Rockwell to ensure continuity of business support and allowing use of standard tools.
  • Develop and advocate for automation, simplification, and standardization in reporting
  • Create ad hoc analyses and respond to business inquiries to understand material drivers of financial performance You will report to FP&A Team Leader or Manager.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • Fluency in Excel
  • Practical knowledge of Power BI or VBA will be an asset

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Minimum of 5 year of experience in FP&A / Controlling area
  • English spoken 90%
  • Interpret financial results and develop main takeaways and insights
