The Senior Finance Analyst will provide accounting and finance services in support of the organization’s business objectives. This role performs general accounting and finance functions, account reconciliations, preparation and presentation of financial statements, and analysis reporting. The position supports monthly analysis, forecasting, and the annual budgeting process while partnering closely with manufacturing operations and business leadership.

This position is based in Orlando, Florida and provides primary finance support for the Warrenton, Oregon manufacturing plant, while supporting broader AeroTech GSE finance activities across multiple locations.

This role offers strong exposure to plant leadership and cross-functional operations teams and is positioned to support future growth opportunities within operations finance and controllership across the AeroTech organization.

  • Lead monthly close process for Warrenton entity, including account reconciliations and preparation and review of monthly financial reporting packages in compliance with the Corporate Accounting Policies and Procedures (CAPP) Manual.
  • Partner with internal and external customers to support business performance and operational decision-making. Analyze and prepare monthly financial results for management and interact with cross-functional teams on business issues impacting financial performance.
  • Promote and support optimal capital allocation decisions; assist with development and maintenance of budgets and forecasts. Support appropriation requests for capital projects and manufacturing investments.
  • Support and partner with Warrenton operations leadership in planning, measuring, and reporting on performance of business functions and opportunities to improve profitability through pricing, productivity, and cost efficiency initiatives.

Provide finance support for the Warrenton manufacturing plant including:

  • manufacturing performance reporting and KPI visibility
  • capital project tracking and CIP monitoring
  • inventory valuation support
  • excess and obsolete inventory review
  • standard variance analysis and cost monitoring
  • absorption and production analytics
  • Assist in management and administration of business systems and procedures; validate effectiveness of new procedures and update Sarbanes-Oxley documentation for changes affecting internal controls.
  • Develop customer-focused systems, processes, and metrics; perform assigned shared services tasks in accordance with standard work instructions. Monitor operational benchmarks and perform root-cause analysis to support corrective actions as needed.
  • Support intercompany inventory activity and profit-in-inventory elimination processes as required.
  • Champion the Oshkosh People First competencies to engage, develop, and connect team members.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Continuous Improvement Management System (CIMS) tools and concepts.
  • Participate in site performance reviews and operational finance discussions supporting alignment between financial results and plant execution priorities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Four (4) or more years of related experience in accounting, finance, or treasury.
  • Ability to travel 15%.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting manufacturing or operations finance environments.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Infor LN, Syteline, Syspro, or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with U.S. and international accounting regulations.
  • CPA or MBA preferred.

Pay Range:

$82,900.00 - $134,300.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
