Senior Financial Analyst
At Black Duck, our Senior Financial Analysts don’t just analyze numbers — they partner with the business to turn data into decisions. In this role, you’ll work closely with leaders across multiple business units, helping them understand financial performance, forecast outcomes, and make smart, informed investments.
This role is ideal for an analyst who combines strong financial skills with confident communication, presentation, and stakeholder management.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with multiple business unit leaders as their trusted finance advisor
- Support annual planning, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Own key components of the monthly and quarterly close and related analysis
- Build and present insights for Quarterly Business and Product Reviews
- Develop forecast models and product P&Ls to support investment decisions
- Create executive- and board-ready presentations
- Partner with Recruiting and HR on headcount, open roles, and benefits modeling
- Improve reporting through automation and scalable financial processes
- Clearly explain financial insights to non‑finance audiences
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of finance experience supporting a Technology or SaaS industry environment
- Bachelor’s degree
- Solid GAAP and financial statement knowledge
- Strong financial modeling skills with advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and business-partnering skills
- High ownership, accuracy, and ability to work independently
- Hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or other financial application
