onsemi, a large, multinational supplier of energy-efficient products, is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the business unit finance team, located in Scottsdale, AZ. As a Sr. financial analyst for Power Solutions Group, you will have the opportunity work with the leadership of the functional groups and the broader finance team to drive the strategic and operational forecasting as well as work on ongoing corporate initiatives designed at improving effectiveness and efficiency. Working at our corporate headquarters, you will also have opportunities to engage with the finance management team and work on several key initiatives to help drive improvements within the finance function and share best-practice experiences to improve our use of rolling forecasts
Responsibilities- Lead the monthly forecasting process for a business unit, partnering with department heads to validate assumptions and drive forecast accuracy
- Deliver high-quality insights and analysis on forecast trends, budget variances, and business performance to inform executive decision-making
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support scenario planning, strategic initiatives, and long-term planning efforts
- Prepare and present management reporting packages, highlighting key financial and operational KPIs
- Collaborate with business partners across functions to improve forecasting inputs, reporting tools, and financial visibility
- Support budgeting cycles, cost modeling, and identification of cost-saving opportunities
- Work effectively with global teams across multiple time zones to ensure aligned financial practices and shared understanding
- Prioritize and manage multiple deliverables and deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong track record in forecasting, · budgeting, and business performance reporting
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and complex formulas
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Detail oriented, organized, and ability to work in a team
- Experience working with AI tools a plus
