Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support management in controlling, analysing and reporting on business performance through weekly, monthly, quarterly reviews etc.
- Assist in preparation of Annual Operating Plan, Financial Forecasting, Flash, and Ad-Hoc reporting
- Analyse complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations. Highlighting and analysing unexpected variances; proactively identifying and mitigating risks; finding opportunities to achieve or exceed business commitments.
- Improve the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance
- Provide analysis and deliver insight that links financial reports to business strategies
- Provide effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
- Anticipate likely questions and key messages and ensure these are addressed in the presentation or pre-meeting preparation.
- Proactively work with stakeholders to analyse business information to meet regional & corporate reporting deadlines
- Reports forecasts and variances and uses data to advise management on decisions such as how to improve performance, minimize risk or capture new opportunities from both within the company and within the external environment.
- Actively participate in product pricing and analysis
- Support Finance with analysis needed to achieve corporate goals for month-end close. Work with management team to assess appropriateness of reserves & accruals.
- Work with regional finance team to ensure proper compliance (SOX, FCPA, USGAAP, IFRS, DOA etc.)
- Ad hoc projects as required
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant, CA/CPA or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably within a large, multinational, publicly traded organisation with regional exposure
- Big 4 public accounting experience is a plus
- Fluent in English
- High proficiency in MS Excel
- Proficiency in SAP and analytics/BI tools (e.g. Power BI) is an advantage

- Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally and effectively with peers, managers, and leaders within the company

- A self-starter, able to work in a matrix environment in a goal-oriented, timeline-driven, and dynamic work environment
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
